The following information should be of interest to anybody or any organization that has a stake in the hamlet of Bayport:
The Fifth Precinct has received eight reports of residential burglaries in the Bayport area within the last month. This represents a significant uptick from the long run general trend in the Bayport community. These burglaries have generally occurred during the day with entry being made into empty homes by a back door window or door.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Suffolk County Police Department’s 911 call center to report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or circumstances that you may observe in your travels in and about the hamlet of Bayport. When you help us, you help us to help you.
