Mastic Beach Residents use Patchogue as a Model
Residents of Mastic Beach are considering Incorporating as a village, in an attempt to remedy some of the problems in their town.
Slum Lords, Absentee Landlords, Section Eight, and Social Services have prompted the Mastic Beach Residents to consider their options.
The exciting part of the Suffolk Life Article (Link below) is that Patchogue Village was used as an example to illustrate that Incorporated Villages do indeed create a better quality of life, via self rule!
